Turn the surveyor's own borders and title blocks into reusable, scale-aware sheet templates for standard or custom plotter sizes.

BORDER prepares the surveyor's existing border and title-block design for dependable reuse instead of replacing it with a generic sheet. It can select an exact paper master or construct another approved printable size by changing only designated straight border rails. County, district, drawing-scale text, and graphic bar-scale values can follow validated drawing context while the company's remaining title-block content stays under its control.

Standard sheets and roll-paper plots

Build the sheet size the project needs without redrawing the company border

Choose a plotter form or enter a custom paper size. BORDER uses the closest compatible company master, respects the device's printable margins, and adjusts only the rails the surveyor approved for resizing.

  • Capture multiple company styles and multiple exact paper masters while preserving prior revisions for drawings that already use them.
  • Use AutoCAD's plotter and printer media, including reported physical sheet size and nonprintable margins, or enter a custom roll-paper size and margins.
  • Lengthen or shorten only approved straight horizontal and vertical rails; fixed title-block cells, text, logos, curves, hatches, symbols, and other protected content are not distorted.
  • Insert at the active model-space annotation scale or at true 1:1 in paper space, with scale text and graphic bar-scale values taken from the applicable drawing or viewport scale.
  • Keep the border sheet-upright while drawing-north-aware north arrows stay aligned to the stored drawing-north direction as model views or linked paper-space viewports rotate.

Professional boundary

BORDER owns sheet presentation only. It preserves the surveyor's source template, changes only approved straight rails, and never uses location context to create, compare, validate, or change survey geometry. The current build is a tested source preview and is not yet represented as a live-accepted release.
