National & State Packs

One National Pack. Your state's pack. More states when you need them.

Land records are organized differently in every state - different district systems, different record offices, different wording on the same kind of deed. GILES POINT SOFTWARE products handle that reality with one National Pack for what every state needs and a separate State Pack for what is unique to each state.

How it works

Every product installs with the National Pack - the cross-state land-record capability, terminology engine, and research method shared by all states - plus one State Pack for the state you work in. Additional State Packs are purchasable add-ons as your work crosses state lines. Installed products share their evidence through a local data cache on your own computer, so separately purchased tools work as a family without becoming one inseparable program.

What a State Pack carries

  • Local record wording - the search vocabulary surveyors in that state actually use, from district names to deed-reference styles, powering state-aware Smart Search.
  • The real district identity - the property-tax district and incorporated-area structure parcels are actually written, indexed, and assessed under, for every county. Not voting precincts, not overlapping levy districts - the identity a surveyor cites.
  • Courthouse access knowledge - county by county: whether deed records are searchable online, what kind of account or login the portal requires, and, where a county is not online, the office's published way to request records instead.
  • A parcel GIS profile - how that state's parcel mapping is reached and queried, so positive research results can resolve to the map.

Status

West Virginia is the development base and ships with the products that use packs. State Packs for additional states are in active research and preparation, built state by state from each state's own statutes, assessor systems, and record offices. Per-state availability will be posted here as packs complete their own verification and release gates.

Professional boundary

Pack content is research and location evidence - terminology, routes, and context. It is never a surveyed boundary, a title determination, or a substitute for the record itself.
